Mrs. Hale describes him as a heavy(a) man and uncheerful (Glaspell, 2011), which is why she believes that his murder was justifiable and leads Mrs. Peters to believe the same. just what we dont know is why he was unhappy. The auditory modality was lead to believe that it was because of Mr. Wright that Mrs. Wright gave up her recounting and pure clothes, nonetheless we see no evidence to excavate this. Maybe it was because of Mrs. Wrights decisions in life that lead Mr. Wright to be so unhappy. If she was the one that chose to change after their marriage and non wear nice things, to quit being sociable in the town, and to not give in care of the home, then this may have been what lead Mr. Wright to be so unhappy. Mrs. Wright is portrayed to be the unbalanced character in this story.
